China worries weigh on stocks

The Australian share market has opened lower as local investors worried about comments out of China that its government is less committed to strong growth. The benchmark S&P/ASX200 index was down 30.6 points, or 0.64 per cent, at 4,772, while the broader All Ordinaries index was down 27.6 points, or 0.58 per cent, at 4,747.8. The market loss follows similar-sized losses on Wall Street on Friday night.
